Based on existing expander designs, our power recovery systems offer a typical payback period of 2-3 years.
Generally, power generation packages consist of an expander coupled to a synchronous or induction generator with a customized control system.
The packages are capable of generating up to 3 MWe, and are skid-mounted to facilitate installation.
Typical Applications Include:
- Replacement of pressure reducing valves in a stream circuit or natural gas pipeline to capture normally wasted potential energy
- Recovery of normally wasted thermal energy from industrial processes (including biomass) and stationary engines.
